Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Diamond Adventure mobile application ("the App"), operated by SGGeek, collects, stores, and uses information when you use the App.
Information you provide
The App lets you create and manage name lists and related content that you enter yourself. That content is sent to and stored on Google Firebase (cloud database / backend services) so the App can save your lists, sync them where that feature is offered, and make them available when you use the App.
Name lists may include names or labels you choose. Do not enter sensitive personal data (for example government ID numbers, full medical information, or passwords) unless you accept the risk of storing it in the App.
Information collected automatically
The App and Firebase may also process limited technical data needed to run the service, such as device identifiers, app version, security-related logs, and diagnostic data. Third-party components you enable (for example Google Play Services, analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs) may collect additional data under their own policies.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- Store and retrieve the name lists and related content you save in Firebase
- Protect the service, prevent abuse, and fix technical issues
- Comply with law where required
- Manage storage and hosting costs, including removing data that has been inactive for the period described in the Data Retention section
If you enable advertising or analytics in a future version of the App, those providers may use data as described in their policies. This page will be updated when that changes.
Service providers and subprocessors
We use Google Firebase (and related Google Cloud infrastructure) to host and process data you submit through the App. Google's handling of data is described in Google's privacy documentation and the Firebase terms applicable in your region. Please review Google's privacy policy for how they process data on our behalf.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your stored name lists and related content in Firebase for as long as you keep using the App and the data remains needed to provide the service, unless a longer period is required by law.
Inactive data. To manage storage and hosting costs, we may periodically delete data stored in Firebase that has become inactive. "Inactive" means you have not opened or viewed the name list in the App for a continuous period.
Current inactivity period: as of the last-updated date above, data becomes eligible for automatic deletion after approximately 30 days of continuous inactivity. We may run deletion jobs on a schedule; deletion may not occur exactly on the 30th day.
We may change this period in the future. When we do, we will update this section and the Last updated date. The new period applies to data that becomes inactive after the updated policy is posted.
You may request deletion of data associated with your use of the App at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will take reasonable steps to delete your stored content where technically feasible, subject to legal retention requirements.
Data security
We rely on industry-standard practices and Firebase security features to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children's privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age required by local law without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that violates applicable child-protection rules.
Your choices and rights
You can stop sending new data by not entering it in the App, and you can uninstall the App from your device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you; contact us using the email below. Some requests may need to be directed to Google where Google processes data solely as a processor.
Free service and possible future charges
The App may be offered free of charge while operational costs allow. If we can no longer reasonably offer the current service for free, we may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, usage limits, or other charges. We will provide reasonable advance notice before new fees apply. Continued use after notice may constitute acceptance of new terms where permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective or last-updated date. Material changes may be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.
Google Play data safety
The disclosures in Google Play's Data safety section for this App should match this policy and what the App actually collects. If anything differs, rely on the most specific disclosure available in the store listing.
